I find it amusing. Next time it happens to you, start singing along!

Sherri-
I work in a public library. We get people in all the time who are singing and talking to themselves. It's a little unnerving at times because we think they (the singers and talkers) are asking us questions! We get a lot more around the full moon!
Singing in a public bathroom is a little weird. I guess people do that to keep themselves occupied while on the pot!
I feel your pain, kiddo!

It depends on what kind of tune it is for me. But it makes m sister go buzzurks. Like on new years eve we were wathching the whole big show and all and Christina Auguilara comes on and I start sining along to the song cuz i no it and she stands up and says 'STOP SINGING. GEEZE !!" and runs off to the guest room. I guess she just was tired but somtimes she leaves a line or somthing when somone starts humming or tapping their feet.

I'd rather hear someone humming, whistling or singing than have to listen to piped-in music that stores subject us to. At least the people sound happy. Piped-in music is psychologically programmed to make you linger longer and buy more. I actually asked a young clerk in Abercrombie and Fitch if she received combat pay for having to be subjected to that horrible loud music for her whole shift. She'll soon be too deaf to hear the question!

Speaking about the restroom. Humming is better than ones talking on a cell phone in the next stall from you. Try that one! I would take humming any day! Besides, humming might be their way of getting around their shyness.

no longer in the event that they are in a position to hold an excellent song. in the event that they're out of song, or only seem to be stringing random notes togehter only for the sake of turning out to be noise, then I tell them to zip it! This additionally applies to those who walk around attempting to mimic the birds of their area in hopes of commencing communique with them.
