I've been trying to unistall Quicktime off my computer by using the Add/Remove Programs, but after I click on Change/Remove it says that "Quicktime Setup is preparing the InstallShield Wizard, which will guide you through the program setup process, Please Wait..." and then it just stops half through loading that and nothing comes up. Every time I click on it, it just does the same thing. I accidently deleted Quicktime because I didn't think i really needed for my Itunes since i didn't use the video player, but after I deleted it my Itunes was all screwed up and I can't even re-install anything (itunes and quicktime) because it either says there is an error or it will just stop. Anyone have any clue whats up, let me know, thanks.

Try this:
1-Download the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility from MS via the link below. The instructions are on the download page. It's pretty simple.
2-Check out the document in link 2. Your problem looks like the first four in the second set of links, specifically the 'Completely remove iTunes and QuickTime' link.
3-Re-download and re-install the QuickTime Player, which is link 4.
Dumping your temp files is a good idea anyway since it can get pretty huge and malware loves to hide there as well. If you still can't clean out the temp folder, just reboot onto safe mode by rebooting and tapping F8 after the "Windows is shutting down.." screen and choosing safe mode from the Advanced Boot Options screen.
Later tater, good luck, and I hope this helps.
PS-Here's the forum I found this info in. You can go there for more detailed help. It's in sources as the last link.
