I recently started dating someone (2 months ago), and I like him alot, but this is my first "seemingly promising" relationship...I want to kiss him sometimes, but I don't know how to go about it. I guess what I want to know is, how to let myself go...?

Try hugging him instead. This is a physical connection that feels comfortable and will bring the two of you closer. When you are both ready to kiss, it will happen naturally... promise ;)

it doesnt seem like u trust this person. ur walls are still up.
u have to get used to this person to kiss him and do alot of other amazing things. get drunk
just kiss him and see what he does. chances are he'll continue. but becareful, u know what kissing leads to, so if ur not ready for that big step, just kiss no touch....unless u want to.
ask him how he likes to be kissed too.
how does he kiss u? do the same.

what you should do is give it a go. Like what I did. One time when your alone, give him a kiss on the cheek. Or what you can do is ask one of your very good friends to ask him if he would let you kiss him. Then, if he says yea, then kiss him when your alone.
