They really want to join a club - but because they are Jewish the heads of the clubs wont let them join ...?

They say they can never become a member simply because they were born a jew - some of them say Jews can but will never be accepted as a true member or equal because they were born Jewish - however they always say how they are the best club better than anyone else but exclude Jews

Is this fair ?

That isn't really fair! You have your beliefs and that is just really low of those people.

At face value, I would say that this person should want to stay away from the bigots who will not let him in the club. Let them have their crumby club.

However, that is not what this question is asking. The question is based, possibly on a deliberately bigoted, notion that Jews do not wish to let non-Jews into their community. Judaism does indeed allow converts, and welcomes people who actually go through the process as full Jews with no distinction from someone who was not born that way. I am also concerned that the person asking this question also believes the rubbish from the "Protocols" that says that there is a secret Jewish conspiracy to take over the world, and that he is jealous that he can't get in on it.

Depending on the country you live in, excluding you because of your religion or race could be illegal, so sue them.

But remember this works in reverse, there are many exclusively Jewish organizations, and clubs.

Discrimination comes in many forms.

One of the biggest problems is the identification of being Jewish by linking a people (Hebrews) with a religion (Judaism).

You can be born as a person of Hebrew descent and follow Judaism and be rightly called Jewish.

But even if you are a person of Hebrew descent and choose to follow a different religion, you will still be considered Jewish.

No dear it isn't fair but people aren't fair in many cases. Like when the Jews rejected Jesus. Why on earth would a Jew want to join a club such as that anyway? Just to force them to accept Jews? BB

It depends - is it a religious club that you're trying to join? Just like "women's only" gyms fairly discriminate against men, a Buddist club can fairly discriminate against other religions. However, if the club simply does not allow Jews for no good reason, then yes, that's discrimination.

No, it would not be fair and it is not how Judaism works. It is possible to convert to Judaism no matter what you were born as, and also Judaism doesn't teach that non-Jews are condemned, but instead teaches that also non-Jews can have eternal life if they are righteous.

If you had a club and didn't let blacks in, isn't that discrimination?
This is the same thing. It's discrimination and is illegal, but in these clubs, it's hard to prove that.
So, they are not the best clubs. They are the worst.
