They say Vista is a great operating system if U have an up to
date P.C. to put it on. Will not work well on older computers
because the paramaters will not accomodate the needs of Vista.

It's better. More features like 3D, an overall better GUI, and it's better than XP 64 bit. And direct X 10 will be optimized for Vista, so video games will be much better on Vista with the proper video card and monitor. I can't wait.

at the moment mate, worse,xp has built up a massive user base and "bang",microsoft want us all to learn how to use a whole new operating system,in my opinion its not needed and its just another way to fill the microsoft shareholders pockets
also, like myself..all vista beta testers using the beta,s are going to lose their copys after july 2007 when microsoft will pull the plug on the beta copies and they will no longer function,i remember when windows xp was a beta and called "whistler" and the beta copies would continue to run when it was finally released
i will be using xp home for many years to come, and i may change to the media center edition or the 64bit edition depending on my hardware
stick with xp mate
all the best
