Me and my ex boyfriend were together for almost two months...he was pretty serious with his ex (together 4 1 1/2 years). We've been apart for almost 3 weeks. During the second week of us being apart, we quit talking altogether. But this previous week, I made small talk for a couple of minutes and now he's acting like we're together again. We held hands at lunch, and some other little things that were just between us when we were together. But he hasn't asked me back out....Is he trying to be close without commitment...or why do you think he's acting like this?

hey there,
as a guy, it sound like he is too proud or too cowardly to ask you back, and is just trying to get back into the swing of things without apologising etc. you should confront him and ask him where he is going with this. that way you dont get hurt and he doesnt get a free ticket back into a past relationship
