Okay my parents recently separated, mom met the landlord at work and they started talking and she found out he had an apartment open. So after a few weeks of knowing him, she started to trust him enough to move into one of his apartments.(It's one big house with three apartments) He's really friendly and nice to us, and he helped us move in and fix up the apartment. He and my mom talk a lot and he invited us to breakfast this morning at his mother's house. We went and when I told my boyfriend he got mad at me. He says the guy's a "child molester"? Does he have a right to be mad at me?? What should I tell him?

Ask him where he got this "child molester" information.
That aside, why is your boyfriend mad at you? Isn't this your mother's business? Is he mad that you're getting a free breakfast? I don't get it.
Either there's something you left out of your question or your boyfriend has a screw loose, and a rather controlling one at that.

Of course he has no right whatsoever to be angry with you.....

He should be mature enough to be supportive through this time of your parents separation, etc...moving is tough and if he loved you he would be really happy that your mom found such a decent friend to help her out.....

Tell him you want some space now, either he's going to realize what a stupid lil boy he's been, or he'll freak out further, which by the way, is a RED FLAG that he's got some issues....question is, do you want to waste more of your own life figuring his problems out?

Hm it sounds to me like the landlord is interested in your mom, not you. I think you bf is being jealous for no reason, and maybe over reacting. Has your bf been molested or know someone who's been molested? Other then being jealous he may be incorrectly associating this with personal experience

He's interested in your mom not you so tell your boyfriend to relax. You never know your mom may find some happiness if a relationship develops with this new landlord.

No he has no right to be mad at you for anything you are not cheating on him you are not comitting a crime of any sort. Frind ship is not a crime. He does not have the right to say that about the man unless has the actual proof in which of so.

Your boyfriend doesn't even know the guy he has no right to be mad at you. Just tell your mom to be careful and get to know the guy.

The freaks are always nice people. Why is he trying so hard to make nice?

And it's called a tri-plex or a 3-plex. You're better off not doing business with friends, and so you shouldn't turn this guy into a friend. Just accept him as the land lord and that's all.

Tell him you only went to accompany your Mom. If he is that insecure,I'd start looking for a new boyfriend.

first I'd ask the boyfriend if he knows this for a fact and how. If he's just being jealous, reassure him that you want him. if he's right, share his concerns with your mom.
