They taste a little (tiny bit) different to me and the yolks are a lot deeper yellow I'm noticing.

they are different colors due to the breed of the hen that produced them. the color of the yolk is determined by what the hen eats.

The only difference is the variety of hen that lays the egg, some beeds of chickens lay white eggs and some lay brown eggs.
Nutritionally they are the same.

I heard that is depends on what you feed your chickens That determine what color the shell is or it might be the type of chicken i really do no know but i do think it is the first answer.

brown eggs are local eggs and local eggs are fresh.

unless you live where chickens lay white eggs, then white eggs are local eggs
