fear of rejection is common, but if you really like her then just ask her out, you really have nothing to lose because atleast if she says no you would have atleast let your feelings be known to her, and who knows she might say yes you never know untill you ask her...

do you talk to her? just be her friend then ask her out after you get to know her better the worst thing is that she says no and your sad for a little while or you could be dating her and really happy
