some people (myself included) are just naturally loud. i don't know I'm talking loudly and bothering other people until someone else tells me. we don't mean to be rude, we're just unaware of our own volume. at least, that's my take on it.

Yes! I think some may not have any idea how loud they are (my husband is guilty of this), but most others are just rude and don't care. I've seen so many people in public places that are supposed to be quiet (such as the library, doctor's office, etc.) who talk seemingly as loud as they can and they just simply don't care. It's pathetic.

We loud people can't control our volume. It's a habit, and, unless people inform us that we are being loud, then how the hell are we supposed to know that it's bothering you? Just tell them that you want them to speak softer. If they refuse, then you have a problem.
Of course, when people are loud, I eavesdrop, so I can't really be sympathetic to your plight, ;).

sometimes,if the other person is saying something real stupid,if it is sensible,is not so bad.
i think ,if a person, has his mobile phone not switched off, during a concert,or some other serious gathering, is the same kind of nonchalant atitude.

Depends on what they are talking about. If it is something vulgar, personal, x-rated,or ignorant , then yes. But if it is something funny, pleasant, positive, or inspirational, then no.
