If you are talking about the New King James, it took the name of God, Jehovah, out of the Bible because of a Jewish superstition that it was too sacred to either say or to write the divine name. Such a superstition was unwarrented because as the Law stated, it was wrong to misuse the Name, NOT use use it.

I don't know about the changes. It's probably made in Korea because a Korean plant made a good bid for the manufacturing price.

I don't see anything wrong with the South Koreans making some money as long as they are paid a decent wage for the work they do. We (USA) fought to free them from the North, we still have a military presence there. It's still a developing nation. Don't worry, the bibles are not coming from North Korea. Read up on trade laws and you will see thats the truth!

Our government has made it really easy to save money by shipping all of the companies' work overseas. I imagine that you have a New King James instead of the King James Version. I do not THINK that anyone CHANGED the KJV. Have a great day.

During translation some people are evil enough to try to change the meaning of the scriptures by changing the way it is read. It is probably cheaper to make it in Korea. I'm not sure about that.

I do not like the king James much but I am sure even if the words are changed the meaning is the same.

Jehovah and Lord are the same- God is Jehovah, and Lord of all. What do you mean "change?" --God has many names and just because one version uses one different than another does not mean it is not speaking of God- the scriptures are the same. Why do I see this question so much? It is amazing how some people just get in a huff over versions using a different name for God. Jehovah, Alimighty, Prince of Peace, Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Alpha and Omega, Adonai, El Shaddai, GOD, Jesus, Saviour, Lamb of God, ---God has many names in the Bible but they all mean GOD, the ONE and ONLY God maker of Heaven and Earth.

The original KJV Bible is the only one I am faithful to. The more they rewrite it with all of its "new and improved" versions the more it becomes the word of man and not the Word of God. I'll stick with the original. Praise the Lord!

Most bible's translations have only minor differences, just like this verse..It's all good.

KJV:t hat men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

NIV: Let them know that you, whose name is the Lord-- that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.

ASV: That they may know that thou alone, whose name is Jehovah, Art the Most High over all the earth.
