There is no such thing as a miniature Jack Russell. It is a marketing term used by unethical breeders to sell undersized dogs. Avoid like the plague anyone using this term to sell a JRT.

There is no such thing as a Miniature Jack Russell. There are Jack Russells and there are Parson Russell Terriers. If it's a JR you're after, you can look in a local rescue kennels or check out something like Shooting Times. If you want one as a pet, be aware that many strains are bred for working & do not necessarily make good pets if they are not sufficiently exercised or trained.

There are no minature Jacks but you can find ones that are short legged. I have a 3 yr.old female jack and she is short legged but was the runt of her litter. She weighs 10lbs. and is absolutely the best. She is small enough to carry in your arms and cuddle up with at night .

there is no such thing as a minature jack russell i have had realy small ones but they have been the smallest of the litter .sometimes if like mine was small and they breed you may find someone who as small ones as my friends are very small jack russells when breeds them as mother realy small,so just keep your eyes open you might find a small one somewhere.good luck

you don't need a breeder, their dogs are probably getting the attention they need. were as at a shelter, they generally can only afford to give it food water and a place for the night. look at your local shelter first.
