DNA sexing is the only foolproof way. I don't think any conures are sexually dimorphic.

I purely have been given a green cheek conure final week and that they did a pelvic examination to tell me I had a boy and on a seen tip all of the lads interior the cage have been bulkier than the ladies yet they are saying your no longer meant to have the ability to tell by using utilising staring at them

Conures are really hard to tell. Sometimes their bellies are darker red as in a maroon belly.. or green cheek.. Males are better talkers. Sorry theres no sure way to tell with them aside from having it sexed. Check a bird Fair magazine sometimes they have ads in there where you can just send a feather away for testing , it's not as expensive as taking them somewhere.

DNA testing is the only way to sex some birds , i have quakers and the vet told me you have to wait until they are a year old for the test to come out correct, and the quaker and conure are in the same family .

Sometimes an Avian vet can give you a pretty educated guess; but not always. My daughter just informed me you can get a DNA test with a feather or poop. I thought you had to use blood, which is painful and traumatic for the bird.
The only surefire way to know is DNA testing.

A MALE Conure has a "SQUARE-shaped" face vs. the female has more of a "cone-shaped" face.
My male Conure had such a square-shaped face that I almost named him BOX-FACE. But, no - naming him after my uncle seemed more appropriate. - Oh how I miss Johnny! :,-(

Have them sexed. That's the only way to tell.
Sometimes the female will have a rounder Belly
after laying eggs, but not all the time.
They are very hard if not impossible to sex just
by looking at them.

send in some blood to the lab and youl know the next day hassle free. Call them I have used these guys they are great.

Oh, that easy on there nose if it's a light peach it's a girl if a blue nose it's a boy.
