I think you should because if you are trying to get it really straight, you have to use a paddle brush and pull it really taut. If you wait till your hair is almost dry to start drying it, then it will reduce the damage. Also make sure you are using the low or medium speed and the low to medium heat. To prevent frizz use a styling gel. For more a smooth texture, use a creme after your hair is dry.

Good luck!!!

If you have reasonably normal hair (thickness wise) then you should use a wide toothed comb when wet to tease out the knots without putting stress on your hair. Use the blow dryer to dry the hair on top and then flip it and dry the hair underneath (the bottom). Just make sure you dry it at angles and don't put the hair dryer too close to your hair or use it too often or else your hair will get dry and you will have split ends. Tease your hair around with the wide-toothed comb while doing this and shake the hair dryer around.

You shouldn't pull your hair taut when drying it because when wet, hair is extra sensitive. Pulling on it, as in combing it with a thin-toothed comb, will sort of "stretch" it and give you split ends, dry hair, weak hair, and thin hair. So don't do it.

If you're looking for volume, this would not be the way to go. Volume is accomploished by a mousse then blow-drying that part up. You can do this by putting your head down, or holding your hair up so the roots can be dried.

I always dry my hair with my blow dryer facing down (down along my hair while it's laying straight). This way, it calms the split ends and fly aways.

Dont listen to those things, they are just generally speaking for the public, it all really depends on what style your hair is and what you want to do with it, like the other girl said if you want to straighten in then pull it taut with a comb while blowdrying downwards, if you want it naturally just blowdry while shaking it with your fingers ect.

The best and healthiest way to dry your hair is to lightly blot it with a towel and then let it air dry!!! This prevents damaging it!!! Do not blow dry!!!

It really depends on what you are trying to do with it. If you want to straighten it, yes. If you want a natural look, only use your fingers, if you are trying to put a wave or slight curl into it, use a round brush and roll it in the direction you want it to curl.
