They never left-they just became softer and more natural looking. The tight set is still popular with the rock-a-billy set and others looking for a dramatic look. They are also often used for weddings and proms to give a curl firm enough to dance the night away. I do it all the time with hot rollers allot of the stars are doing.I see it *** a lazy way of curling. I hate to sit there with the curling iron and curl ever piece of my hair.

everything comes back eventually. look at "skinny jeans"...we thougth that the tapered legged pants from the 80s were gone forever but even those are back lol so im sure if you wait long enough the style you like will come back.
