Would you expect me to wear hosiery too if it was required for the other secretaries?

I'd expect you to be properly dressed just like the other secretaries. Your dress code would be just like the girls, you'd have to wear business suits with skirts, high heels, hosiery & have your make-up, hair & nails done too. If you're going to work as a secretary, then you might as well dress like one too.

umm not all secretaries are women, and not many secretaries wear skirts because pants are more professional.
