I heard from a friend that eating spicy food can give u pimples...I love love spicy food and eat it often, but i dont think it's the reason i get pimples sometimes...however maybe it cud be? does it effect skin at all? tell me wat is ur opinion

no i don't think so. Some spicy food may, but not all. My mom gets pimples when she eats spicy pickles. Just relax. Watch out for the pimples. Remember that not all spicy food gives yu pimples.

Well i would yes they do give pimples.But you can always balance them with fruits and a lot of water in your diet. Avoid fatty and oily stuff because that is what is really worst for your skin.
Spices are there to add more taste in food.In my part of the world(Pakistan) they are a major ingredient of almost every recipe.If you visit polluted and commercial cities here you will find a lot of pimpled faces but if you go more towards the country side or where there is a lot lesser pollution, water is clean and healthy and nature is preserved, you will find people with fairer and healthier skins. So it also depends upon the climate

Actually it's quite the opposite, when you eat spicy foods, sometimes it makes you sweat, which can actually sometimes clean out pores. It don't know if it is correct but, i heared something like that on the Today Show once.
