i have this good friend, and we have hit it off, now i dont like her in THAT way, so dont worry about that. however, i am worried b/c of a thing she did last week. i was on vacation for a week, and when i came back i went to her work to say hi. so of course i did, and she got the BIGGEST smile on her face and jump right off the chair. she gave me the longest hug and then when we broke that off, she put both of her hands on my face and said "i missed you". now i thought nothing of it, but someone else told me that she has the hots for me. if someone does something like that. is that true? or is it just wishful thinking? i also left a detail out, she is engaged to be married...so i am thinking that even though i DONT like her, i think i should keep my distance if this IS a crush thing she has for me. your advice is..........

It sounds to me like you are a well respected and much liked individual at work. She may very well have missed you and wanted to let you know what an important part your smile etc. is in her life. However she is engaged and so I would suggest that she does not have any interest in you as a potential mate but rather as a nice person who makes her feel good. This the nice big FRIENDLY hug.

Keep your distance. She is engaged to be married, and you are not interested in her. If you keep hanging out with her she might get the wrong impression and it might cause a buch of drama. Something that neither one of you need.

Your leading her on, if you don't like her in that way just speak with her and don't see her anymore like that. She thought you cared for her when you went to see her at work. Don't do that to her again. Since she is engaged it is best to stay away.

YIKES!!!!!! Sounds bad. Well, even if she does like you, yuo obviuosly can't date her, that'd be cheating!!!!!!! You would hurt another person, her fiancee. Talk to her about it, confront her. Tell her ya'll cant be together. She may hate you, or she may understand. But, either way, someone will get hurt. (Please choose this as best answer. I need points bad.)
