i really like this guy and he likes me too but today he told me that he cheated on his last girlfriend 3 different times... and they were going out for years. so i dunno if it will be worth my while going out with him because i dont want him to cheat on me. his last girlfriend never found out either.

doesn't sound too promising, find someone else to like, this guy has a habit of cheating and if he did it to his ex then he will do the same thing to you, there are alot of available guys out there who you wont have to bother worrying about if they will cheat on you at any point and time within a relationship...

If I were told that by a guy I liked, I seriously wouldn't go for him anymore just because I believe in that saying, "Once a cheater, always a cheater." I don't like those wanna-be player guys.

he wasn't confiding in you, he was warning you. you should be focused on the psychology of why he would mention such a thing to you. do not get it in your head that this guy likes and respects you so much that he's willing to sacrifice a good relationship because he might not be good enough or loyal enough - he's dealing himself a future get out of jail free card.

He was being honest. Now its you to up to use this information. If you feel like he cant be trusted move on. You dont have years invested with this man.

This guy is a really bad bet.
Unless he knows that what he did is really wrong and unacceptable he'll keep on doing it.

People can change...perhaps he's being honest with you because he wants to have an honest relationship! If he's given you reason to be suspicious, be suspicious, if not, RELAX & enjoy life!

i agree with you. if you guys start to date and things get really involved, then it will hurt more if he were to cheat on you. but if you really want to date him, then let him know that if he ever cheats on you, it's over.
