Because it's an extended release tab, the tablets should be taken intact; they should not be chewed, crushed, or broken. It's meant to stay within the shell to slowly release in your body. Breaking the pill would cause too much of the drug to be released at one time and could cause an increase in side effects.

Nothing really. It justs tastes bad, but it kicks in quicker.

it will just have a very bitter taste, but will still work. just mix it in some applesauce or juice and eat it.
