i date, but my parents don't know. i'm 16, and i have to hide my bf or the person i'm dating everytime i want to go out or w/e. They get annoyed alot. what should i do? my parents would kill me if they found out.

i know what you mean i have the same problem too! I'm also 16 and i always have to hide my relationships from them. i think that you should just keep it all a secret until you think that you are ready to come clean and tell them whats been going on. that's what i did and for once my parents actually understood the situation. good luck. =)

Your parents probably think a 16 year old girl isn't ready to take on, what comes with having a boyfriend. A lot of parents are like that. They fear something bad will end up happening or you'll get your heart broken. A lot of parents always say "Focus on school, forget about boys right now"... and in a way thats totally true. Just make sure you don't do anything you regret, take it slow, and make wise decisions. Trust me, I'm 16 too, I know exactly how you feel!

You are only 16, If anything your parents are looking out for you. According to them they're just looking out for your future and a guy that going to treat you well. Is that so wrong?
