My skin is very dry, and the skin on my forehead is the worst. I currently use Oil of Olay, which I have found to be the best moisterizer without making my skin oily, but I have to put it on 4-5 times a day to keep my skin from flaking. I've also tried Clinique, Biore, Dove, Aveeno, Avon, but to no avail. I'd appreciate any suggestions! P.S. I'm trying to keep from having to purchase something extremely expensive (under $30).

Vaseline products don't absorb into my skin, they just lay there and it becomes very oily.

I used Oil of Olay too, it's nice but not the best at hydrating your skin throughout the day. What I use now is Garnier Nutritionist (both the day and night ones)... They're beautiful! They're rich without clogging your pores or feeling oily. They have natural ingredients where possible and they have a nice fragrance! I really hope you get them because they've changed my skin for the best. I hope you find what you want. They're about $15 each but last for aaaages. The day one has an SPF of 15+... not bad.
Furthermore, what you consume is going to have a huge effect on your skin of course! Drink a minimum of 2 litres of water a day. Eat healthy (fruit, veges, foods rich in antioxidants and omega 3 fatty acids) I would recommend having a tablespoon of LSA on your cereals... It would make your skin more hydrated and help maintain healthy hair and nails too.
Good luck!!

The reason why Vaseline does not work is because the molecule structure is too large that is why baby oil or mineral oil seems to work at the time but only makes matters work- these are derivatives of crude oil not meant for the skin. Arbonne has a non greasy moisturizer that helps to return skin to a balanced healthy state It is infused with amino acids to help rejuvenate skin. Key ingredients Blue Copper cucumber extract antioxidant vitamins A, C, and E and most importantly no mineral oil. You mentioned that you wanted to stay under 30 dollars. The retail price on this is $35. I can give you my discount to get it down to $25.00 I would also like to send you a free sample of our skincare so you can just see how phenomenal these products really are. They are all formulated in Switzerland where Mineral Oil is prohibited in cosmetics because of the damage that it causes to your skin. You can check out my website at www.myarbonne.com to find out more and email from there. I can tell you that I have used everything out there and I have never used anything like Arbonne It truly is phenomenal

When I used Oil of Olay it made my skin very dry. Have you tried Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing lotion? Make sure it is the lotion and not the gel.

I just had my bags removed from under my eyes by a surgen. He recommended Neutrogena with spt 15 oil free moisture. My skin is no longer dry, I use it twice a day. Before using this product, I bought all the expensive creams for eyes, face. And my face still felt dry, Now I only pay a few bucks, and no longer dry. Surgen was right.

Shea Butter has many documented healing properties, with helping to strengthen Nails & Cuticles to helping heal scars, burns and blemishes, to minimizing wrinkles, just to name a few. Shea Butter melts upon skin contact to revitalize, soften and maintain moisture without leaving any greasy residue
Shea Butter is solid and comes from the natural fat obtained from the karite tree grown in West and Central Africa. Shea butter is an emollient. It is extremely therapeutic, helping to heal cracked, aged and damaged skin. Its chemical constituents help to heal bruising and soreness. Shea butter penetrates the skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth. It has vitamin A, E and is highly compatible with skin.
Use Shea Butter cream rather than lotion. It is more concentrated. A good quality Shea Butter cream is a bit expensive. The one I use costs about $36.00 for 6 oz.(this includes shipping and handling), but it goes a long way. It keeps my face moisturized all day long. I apply it in the morning before I put on my makeup and at night after I cleanse my face.
