When UN was formed the western powers want to have an Asian representation to the Security Council. The other powers suggested India, China and Taiwan(US proposal). India was not having good relationship with US at that time. And US could not muster support for Taiwan so India and China left out. In order to avoid to avoid diplomatic confrontation and to maintain the good relationship with China, then Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru Supported China and campaigned for it to be a permanent member, Russia also supported this so US opted for Communist China instead for Democratic India.

First of all, China became a permanent member of the UN security council under Nixon. Second off all if you are a Bushie and you shop at Wal-Mart you'd better be pro-China because you are making them rich.

Also you think Bush is anti-China? Your'e kidding right? This prould liberal sure is. The greed of thsee rich conservatives you foolishly think represent you sold you out to China long ago.

Now the answer...They demanded it, they only agreed to stop threatening Taiwan when the were given permanent member status and they still send missles over the South China Sea once in a while.

Because of weak liberal foreign policy. When liberals are allowed to run America they let communist dictatorships like the Peoples Republic of China take over.
