i have " AMACO Marblex " clay. I was wondering if i could make a perch out of the clay. is this clay toxic to them??

To be on the safe side, I wouldn't risk it either. I did a quick search for your brand of clay in relation to toxicity to parrots, but couldn't find anything. If it's all natural, as in, nothing has been added to it and it came directly from the source where there are no pesticides, it should be fine. Birds naturally eat clay for its nutrients, but I can't say anything about your specific clay's name.

Do you plan on firing it? That may make a difference.

Personally i would not as the clay could be toxic. but i am not 100% sure.
