Do you have pics of you and him? Make him something he can look at when he misses you, put pics of ya'll in it and pictures of things that both of you like..or write little stories in it around the pics. Decorate it really cute and then spray it with some of your perfume

Find out from his family or friends what his favorite food is and make it for him. Set up a nice private place where you can cook him a good meal and enjoy it together. It won't cost that much money and he'll appreciate the effort that you put into it.
When I was in high school this girl did that for me and I was so impressed. I thought it was really sweet.

you should buy him a basketball card if there is one or a basketball t-shirt.You can also get him a autograph of his favorite basketball player but that might be expensive.
