I guess I don't understand the question.
Spirits don't exist but if one body died how could you get a new one? You're living in a fairytale, friend.
Scriptural references? Oh right, well we know the bible's true because it says so within its pages. QED.

There have been books written on this... no wy it can be effectivly answered here... I personaly believe that for those, of The Church, who have ended their mortal time before The Rapture that they will be in spirit form. Those who are still living will be in their old bodies... after the judgment of the believers all of the church will receive new bodies and the rewards they have earned and then enter Heaven... I personaly believe that those who must face the final judgment of the lost will be in spirit form and will not have "bodies"... there is debate among those of the church on this and it takes a lot of study to even begin to form a postion...as it dose not affect anyones Salvation I do not concen myself over it much... it is just someting to "think on" but not worry or fight over.

Do these scriptures shed so ligiht on your question? These scriptures refer to the "rapture" but you will never find the word "rapture' anywhere in the Bible. It is a name man has given the act of being taken upwards into heaven.
Revelation 4:1-2 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

The final judgment may refer to insight where the person realises that "I and the father are one", if the person does not realise this in there life time then I guess the final judgment would be the grave, as they "believe" they are only the body. I have no Scriptural reference, unless Scripture refers to insight. "Seek & you will find". Good question, Thanks.

When the final judgement comes, our bodies will be dust and our spirits will be with God.
My belief in the Lord comes directly from the Lord Jesus, not from the Bible. The Holy Bible to me is the text in which I use as a guide for my spiritual journey, not as the be-all end-all to my faith.
Same as my attitude toward organized religion, I don't beleive in the religion itself, it is just the avenue in which I use it to practice my faith.
When I die, my body stays here, my soul belongs to God - actually, it does, anyway.

RESURRECTION TO LIFE AND SALVATION FOR ALL POSSIBLE
Your soul is all of you if you are created, if you are born James 2:26 if you die, Psm.115:15-17; 146:3,4; Eze.37:12-14; your soul is you when resurrected.
1Cor.15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
1Cor.15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
Heavenly for the new heavens and the earthly for the new earth. 2Pet.3:13; Rev.21:1-5; Isa.65:17; 66:1,22;

Both body and spirit. Revelation 20:13 "The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to their works." It makes no difference how you die, or if you were cremated or buried. You still will be risen with body and spirit.
