Society has made us believe that life should be simple and we should always be happy. People are not willing to work to save a relationship anymore. At the first sign of trouble or problems or when people are just not as "happy" as they were at the beginning they pack up and move out.
Life and marriage is not about being happy every single minute of the day. It takes work, understanding and communication.

Because people nowadays jump the gun and have sex before they are ready to make a committment. They didn't do this in the old days because birth control wasn't readily available.

Because of modern feminism, sexual liberation movement, reversed gender roles... we (men) no longer are obliged to marry women to get sex.
Good intentions gone horribly and morally awry, corrupting the relationship between men and women and cheapening the sacramental intimacy between spouses.PERIOD.
