Given the complexity of your situation, I'd seek help from a lawyer. However, if you have the written consent of the father of your 2 girls, then anything is possible. Without it, there could easily be a custody battle after your death, and no one wins in that case -- as your whole family would be traumatized.

If you want to make negotiations with your ex-partner easier, you might want to stipulate that his two children will continue to have visiting rights with him, and that the current custody arrangement would continue after death. Your current husband will have to agree to that, and be willing to sign a document of some kind, in all likelihood.

Not sure... but I think your current husband has to legally adopt the 2 girls from the other man.. which means he has to give up parental rights (also giving up paying child support)... But I'd definately consult a lawyer...

Good Luck

I know a girl who had a baby and her dad was the father. You have two from your dad and one from a Stepdad. My heart bleeds for you. May God bless you.
