I do a lot of pushups but I noticed only my chest gets bigger. I thought your abs were supposed to get a workout too? Am I doing them wrong?

the abdominals only isometrically contract during the push-up. to effectively stimulate a muscle it must be exercised through the entire range of motion

Yes because it takes some ab work to keep your body up in that position for an extended period of time. Just go into a push up position and feel your abs, they are tight. Just holding a push up position is good for your abs. But in my opinion, if you want serious abs, sit ups are your best bet.

No, push-ups are mainly for the arms and chests. If you spread you arm wide, they are better for cehst. If your arms are more narrow, they are better for your triceps. If you want to increase abs, do more sit ups or do the plank...
They help a lot

Pushups are good but for your abs do like 1,00,000 situps and you will get a six pack. Situps are reallly good for your abs.
