whats wrong dealership saying frozen battery im thinking altenator

the jeep got picked up from cape cod and got driven back to western mass so im supposed to pick it up on monday . what happened was the guy said it started to lose power while driving on the highway. battery power not engine

well it could be both.

both answers are viable
batteries can loose their charge in very cold weather.

if it is your alternator you should see a difference on your dash Gage that says alt. or volts, or charge

That's a pretty vague question.
Could you give a little more info?
Batteries don't generaly freeze. unless you live in Alaska. -43 deg. F.

if its new should be coverd by waranty who cares what is wrong tell them just fix it
