I want some software to play about with. Something to enhance digital photos, change backgrounds, that sort of thing. Any Ideas?

I use adobe photoshop CS2 for most of my photos. Paint shop shop from Jasc is also very good and a fair bit cheaper but doesn't have the functionality of the adobe one.

loads of free advice, competitions and galleries of pics to marvel at.

I saw Adobe Photoshop Elements 5 on sale this weekend for under $140. It does most of what big brother does.

Microsoft digital Suites is good, as well.

probably something like windows move maker or imovie. if you want to go even higher then that, then i recommend final cut pro for mac. it costs quite a bit though
