Natural colors like beige or sage is good. Mine is opposite,my sectional is beige, brown and sage with a little burgundy (plaid) so I got burgundy curtains, looks awesome. And for the walls, don't use white, too much of a contrast. Beige is nice.

I work in an orthodontist office. The walls are painted a green (light sage). The chairs are burgandy and it looks great! It would be more dramatic than beige...blah. If you paint the woodwork, go with bright white semi gloss. Accent with green throw pillows, throws, and silver. Will look fantastic!!!!! For the window treatments use a plaid of greens and burgandys!!!!!

Use a neutral color for the walls, in the taupe range. For the window treatments, consider a jacquard damask or Dupioni silk stripe on stripe incorporating the burgandy and neutral, even a third color if you wish, to pull the colors together. Use the third color pulled from the drapes for throw pillows and accents. I'll post a couple of links for you to get some ideas from for the windows. Good luck.

I would use either a cream or rich offwhite tone for the walls, because burgundy is a dark color that adds a lot of weight to a room. For window treatments, I would use a dark green( kinda sagey) that complements the burgundy shade, and use throw pillows of the same color on the sectional.

I like more dramatic rooms than most people, so i would probably go with a brown wall and olive green window treatments.
With a burgundy, any combination of browns (from beige to coacoa) and greens work well.

I would use a soft oatmeal color and get a printed fabric for window treatments, with oatmeal, burgundy, greens in pattern.

Think about soft white for the walls, and a dark green for accents, and a little bit of navy blue here and there. I have this in the master bedroom and bath, and it's pretty enough for me, masculine enough for him...
If you want it to be more feminine, use pinks and whites, with a little light green or light blue.

lets go with a lite greay (satin ) for the walls, and a pure white for the trim, (high gloss) or go with a medium tan to lite almond.
