I've seen photos, but that's it. Sometimes I've wondered if people I know come on this site, but so far it's never been confirmed.

I wouldn't want to...even if I was looking for someone. People get on these online forums and say whatever is bugging them. If I've had a bad day, I will sometimes take it out on Answers.
Questions...like, "why are all jaywalkers so dumb" if I almost got in a car accident because some silly jaywalker ran out in front of my car.
I think people say a lot of things on here that they wouldn't normaly...just in an effort to vent...I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I highly doubt that all the drama that goes on in the political/religious/cultural forums would actually take place in a face to face...all of a sudden people wouldn't know what to say.

Not in Yahoo Answers but several times from an online journal. It wasn't weird for me since you havve an idea of who they are arleady. I don't suggest it's a safe way to meet people though. You never know really who your meeting.

Nah i definitely wouldnt suggest it. It could be dangerous and probably would be awkward. Its not worth the risk so i dont plan on doing it

i did!!! actually twice!!! one was very awkward. we had alot to say online but face to face was very different. then he wanted more than we discussed would happen. then i met one that i was head over heels in love with... i married him...almost a year ago!!!
