Go home. If you can afford a plane ticket to the USA your country needs you.
We don't have enough good jobs for people born here anymore and we have enough people to clean toilets and bus tables.
Go home and work hard. You'll do better there, the economy is less screwed up wherever you are from unless it's Iraq.
If you are from Iraq then go tell Al-Maliki to get his act together, were sick of his lollygagging. Then work hard back where you are from.
Bye-Bye.....

You are here on a visitor visa. You can not get a work permit. You are not a resident of the USA. The only way you can work is illegally which then you become a criminal. You would need a company to pay for your work visa, they would have to show that you were specialized in your job and give reasons that you are the only one that could do the job. You can also marry someone from America, or you could have 1 million dollars and show that you are going to start a business here and employ up to 10 people. You need a company to sponsor you. There is paperwork that they must fill out and then submit. You must be able to prove that you have a skill that is needed by the US and that another American can not due the job. If all of this goes through, it can still take months before you do recieve a work visa. My advice is fork the money out and get an immigration attorney to file everything for you. This will make sure it gets done right and its more professional. We retained an attorney for immigration purposes and it cost us around $3000 though our visa concerns were a bit different

It is a totally different process. There are limits on how many we let work here, and on the types of jobs etc that qualify. It depends on if you need seasonal work or year round etc. Go to the immigration service web page, they lay it all out. However, it will probably take longer than you are allowed to stay on your tourist visa, so you should plan on staying in your home country, or plan on returning to it, to complete the process.

You cant. if youre a visitor, then the only way to get a job is illegally, and that would just ruin your life. go back home to ur family and friends. America already has enough illegal aliens.
