Jesus and his disciples were Jews, so God has nothing against Jews. Jesus himself said that he "did not come to destroy the law" but to save them from the burden of the law by making it so all people have to do is believe in him so they can have his Holy Spirit that "fullfills the law".

The authors of the Bible could have been referring to the Pharisees and other hypocritical rulers of the time, and not all Jews in general.
