Of course it is. I sent roses to my husband's office for our first valentine's day (we had just been dating a little over a month at the time). He loved it and called me up saying how much it meant to him. I sent him flowers last year as well. Once, before we had gotten married, he was having a bad day so while he was in class I stopped by his condo and left him flowers and an 'I love you note' for him to find when he got home (don't worry, I didn't break in - LOL - he had given me a key). He was so surprised and touched because I had gone through the effort to try and cheer him up. So yes, I say it is okay to get him a couple of roses. YOu may be surprised by his reaction.

I suggest red - it is the traditional color of love and passion.

Congrats on the 1 year anniversary. Enjoy.

Yes It Is Perfectly Fine For A Girl To Treat A Boy! Maybe Black Roses. Good Luck!

Okay, ignore the guys here who say, "No." They're obviously not too comfortable in their own masculinity to accept flowers from a woman.

My then-girlfriend (Marijane K, above) got me an assortment of what are known as "sweetheart roses" (all different colors) for Valentine's Day 2005. I was the most popular guy in the office because EVERY WOMAN came up and complimented me on them, and two were disappointed that I was dating (I was new to the company at the time). Most of the guys said, "Man, my wife doesn't even do that for me. Keep her!" The following year (now she'd be my fiancee') got me tulips and I got her red roses.

Now that we're married, I'm curious to see what she gets me (I already know what I'm getting her!).

Yes it is okay to get him roses. No matter what you are, male, female, straight or gay, roses are the universal symbol of love- so to speak- and no matter what the guy will appreciate them... and the color should be a dark red. No matter what, the dude will love them because they come from you.

YES!
My wife sent me roses at work. I got teased like crazy and enjoyed every moment of it!
It takes a strong relationship and surprises like that to survive long term.
If you love him, show him in front of others!
Go for it!!!
PS- Congratulations on your anniversary!
