As others have said, get your own stuff. Let the kids know that they can't just touch your stuff. I'm a mom with two little kids and I refuse to eat anything my kids had their hands on - it really grosses me out. When I'm dealing with kids other than my own, I let them know that I will serve them or that they will have their own little plates they can grab stuff off. I figure my stuff, my rules.

Are these by chance your siblings or relatives? I agree with you and think that this is also discusting. I think I would rather be sick from not taking vitamins than get ring worm. If i were you i would get my own vitamins and use lots of hand gel and soap and water every chance you get. At least this way you can prevent some of the germs you are talking about, although not all of them. Getting some germs of course will build up your immunities and actually make you healthier. Wash all your fresh foods that are out and about and just be sure to eat out of the bag first!!! I would also like to know where the guardians of these children are, but it they are your siblings/relatives, at least you all share the same DNA. Try and teach them not to do this and if you can keep them out of reach. If they want a certain Gummie or food, offer to help them out and get it for them. Keep healthy and wash your hands!!!

Try the following technique to manage the children...
U will have to come down to their level first before trying to change them.
Play with them whole heartedly for some time and then create a situation to eat some thing. Then you curse yourselves, 'oh! I forgot to wash my hands, let me do it first , otherwise, pin worms will enter my stomach'. Try doing this a few times regularly. Initially the children may not cooperate, but slowly they will start following your foot steps. Avoid ordering or shouting at them, it will not work. Patience and perseverance will pay dividends.
Have a nice time with the kids!

make up little dixie cups for all of the little eaters and put equal amounts of snacks in each, let them decorate the cup as they wish as long as the glue or glitter doesn't get in the cup (ya know). Stay on them about using only their cup and many valuable lessons are learned about limitations and cleanliness. If you can't get them to do that... throw the food in the trash in front of them... It shows them a vivid picture of what not to do or pay the consequence... Remember Easter Bunny will be coming soon, start learning to hide stuff now..if they don't pay attention to what you tell them!

where are the parents of these children, maybe you can talk to them, about it and tell them how they feel. or you can easily buy your own vitamins and keep them up high so that they can't get a hold of.and you can tell them to wash their hands everytime they go to touch something that they want . good luck.

ok you need to get over it. they are kids, and those are kids vitamins. and if you are that easily DISGUSTED (that's how you spell that.) then don't ever have kids, because they are all like that and you will never eat again. geez.
