I really really really want to do volunteer work in cambodia with children for a month in christmas. However I cannot afford it as it is £1500. Does anyone know any charities that is free.

Get sponsors. If you are truly serious about this and it sounds like your are. take the paperwork you have for the organization you wish to work with and do some footwork by going to businesses in your area and solicit sponsors of your work. You would be amazed at how many companies would be willing to help. You might even put an add in the local paper.

Look for orphanages, social centres etc on the internet and contact them directly. If you have experience in childcare/health/social services they may take you on.
