I would change places with my brother who is a quadriplegic. He does not realize the value of suffering and so I would not waste the suffering but, offer it up to the Lord by uniting it to the sufferings of Christ for the salvation of souls. Mine, his, and all sinners. I receive Holy Communion so I am a member of the body of Christ and like St. Paul I say I work out my salvation daily with fear and trembling.
