u wont belive this but right now i live with 6 shih tzus! mine is called Miracle because it was a miracle my dad let me get one LOL! and the other 5 are named after candy theres Resse, Heath, Rolo,Cocoa, and Toffe. Heres some other cute names
Candy= Carmal, Hershys kisses, hugs, whoppers, Sneakers,M&m, Twix, Jolly Rancher,
Food= Cupcake, S more, Ruffles, Chip,Suger, Spice, Cookie,fudge

2-syllable names are good for dog names. they respond to 2-syllables, so i've been told. i think BOOMER is totally cute. my shih tzu's name is Ezra, though she's a girl!

What is his personality? You could name him something that reflects that or something that is ironically the opposite. For instance, he's a small dog- ironic: Hercules. It is good to name them something ending in a long e sound. Dogs seem to be able to respond to that sound well. Corby, Dudley, Soobee, etc. good luck

give him a name that matches his character (eg: i named my dog loopy b/c when we 1st got her all she did was chase her tail around in a loop for hrs.)
or look into its eyes and give it the first name that popps into ur head
or give it a human name to make it feel like part of the fam.

I use to name my pets by how they acted and how their fur looked. like i had a cat that was rough and i named it rowdy. and a cat that would creep around the house so i named it creeper.
