maybe the bloke likes being flirtacious. you may attract him, or maybe he likes flirting. if that is the case then you just got screwed. sorry

Sounds like a complete jerk to me.
If he's capable of doing that once he can do it again so I'd not bother anymore unless he apologises a lot and has a decent explanation.
