I have liked this guy since October. His name is Mike and he is my age ( only two months younger than me ). We both are 18 and are in the same Economics class.
I see him all the time at school. For the past few weeks, I have had it for him the worst. I have been making eye contact and smiling at the guy. I find him staring at me too and look away when I look back.
According to some people, he is VERY shy and on his MySpace, he admits that he's not a big talker or flirter and has never been in love.
How can I open up to him, besides the smiling and eye contact? I think he likes me, but we really don't know each other.

Stop being scared girl, make your move before someone else move before you, let him know how you feel about him, can that be so wrong, since he not such a big talker you do all the talking, or may be write him a letter, let him know how you feel so that you can find out for sure if he feel the same about you, Don't pass up an opportunity for a further relationship, this could be the one, you know i meet my husband when it was 16 really wasn't sure if the feeling was the same at the time, at first i though he did like me but i was wrong that was just what i thought. now we have been married for 12 years with three children i guess i thought wrong. Go for it

Well shy guys are hard. So I think you should make the first move. Don't get discourage if he like pushes you away at first or something similar to that, he's just not used to it. It's kinda hard to build a relationship if he's not a big talker so you should find out some things about him like hobbies or stuff he's interested in to talk about that makes him comfortable.

i think you should start a conversation with him .... since your in his class (and probably on his myspace) send him a comment ...use the asking for hw trick and maybe even ask for his help(at school so u can sit close to each other.) and talk about things (if he plays a sport or you noticed he has a cool hobbby this sounds corny i kno but it could work)

Get together to study for an Econ test; go out for a snack afterwards. Go two more places after that. After going three places, he'll feel like he's known you for longer than what he has, and should ask you out. If he doesn't, ask him out.

Coming from someone who is shy as well, I would e-mail him. E-mail is the god-send for shy people!

you need to speak with him one day after class or when you can say : hi how r u today? talk with him about thnigs i am sure he will have somthing to say in return ...."build up a frindship"

you can talk to him and get to know each other. once you know each other ask him out or whatever. get him to be outgoing and talkitive
