There are no direct flights. You will have to do several transfer. All international flights will lead to Zagreb. The cheapest flight would be on United Airlines or NWA. You would fly to Chicago on UA or Detroit on NWA. From there you take a flight to Armsterdam (Holland) and connect to Zagreb.

I don't know about flights within Croatia. I also check that web site http://www.ytbnonsolotravel.com/. Its rubbish, it's a search engine just like the 1001 other web sites like www.kayak.com etc etc. Last time I was looking for a flight from Tokyo to Shanghai & the same guys replied to me and then when I checked, the price was exactly the same as quoted by Northwest.
