Then stop shampooing so much, and switch to conditioning your hair with a good deep conditioner.

When I have previously had damaged hair, I would bathe every day, but shampoo once only every third day. In between I would wet my hair and use conditioner on it ONLY. This quickly helped heal my dry and brittle hair.

I have very dry hair and I can understand your problem. However, the only thing that really works is oiling your hair with Parachute Advanced oil (champi) for one hour before bath. Then wash your hair with a good shampoo that takes off all the oil. Apply a conditioner - Garnier Fructics and Loreal (orange bottle) conditioner works best - Loreal is very expensive, but really worth it. Leave the conditioner for 2 to 3 minutes on towelled hair - means squeeze the excess water from your hair and apply the conditioner, if you wish cover your hair with a towel for that period. When you rinse out your hair use only cold water and not hot water. Dry you hair naturally and then use a hair serum like Numis, Silk-n-shine etc. You can also try the Ultra-doux leave in conditioner (but not both at the same time) Try this routine regularly once every week. Dont wash your hair often - doesnt suit dry hair, even if you need to, only wash your hair and then use a conditioner and not a shampoo. It has worked well for my dry frizzy hair. And I am sure it will work for you too! Also henna/lime, does not suit dry hair, makes the hair more brittle!

You should use Hair softeners and conditioners like Henna and Ritha paste. Prepare a paste of Henna & Ritha in 80:20 Proposition and apply a thick paste on your hairs. Remember to wash your hairs before applying a paste. Leave this paste overnite and let it work. Wash your hairs thoroughly with warm water in the morning, and you will have a soft, shiny and manageable hairs. If you are facing a split ends problem, repeat this paste weekly for 1st 3 weeks, than once a month. THis will sure cure your dry and split end hairs.

Priya, dry hair does not need a change in shampoo.. but it needs a good conditioner. After you shampoo your hair, do the following:
Apply the conditioner on your palm and rub into both your palms and then apply only on the hair and NOT ON THE SCALP.. usng your fingers like your combing your hair using your fingers. Most importantly, apply the conditioner to the ends of your hair, and then wait for 5 mins. Then rinse off your hair clean of conditioner.

You will gradually start noticing the shine in your hair.
For the record, I use Garnier fructis conditioner for weak dry damaged hair.

I have very dry hair and have found something that works for me. I use coconut oil once or twice a week on my hair as a hydrating treatment and it's great. At night on dry hair I saturate it with the oil, and then massage it into my scalp for a minute or two. Then I leave it on overnight (I either wear a shower cap or put a towel on my pillow) and shampoo/condition my hair in the shower in the morning as usual. It's the best and most natural product I have found that works for my dry hair.

The is nothing as nourishing as a warm oil massage. Take half a cup of coconut oil. Crush 4 almonds and add to oil. Steam this mixture by placing it inside a pan. Apply while still warm, deep into the scalp and into the roots of your hair. Cover your head with a towel and leave it on for half an hour. Shampoo your hair.

wash it every other day. on the off days just run water over it, to avoid breakouts on your face and neck. Use a 3 minute leave in conditioner once a week. Add a conditioner to your haircare routine.
