Every religion say something alike "...and then there was God created man in his own likeness..." But why, what for? He was already perfect, so why would he need us to be? what is man existing for? For we are inperfect and still we have an inmortal soul?

The Source of Meaning and Purpose

Is that all there is, then, to life—each one of us doing what he or she wants? Rather than leave us to wander aimlessly in a universe devoid of purpose or meaning, the Bible has long revealed that we are here for a reason. Our existence is not the result of some cosmic accident. The Creator, we are told, took years to prepare the earth for man’s arrival. Nothing was left to chance. He made sure that everything was “very good.” (Genesis 1:31; Isaiah 45:18) Why? It was because God had a purpose for man.

Yet, interestingly, God did not predestine the future of each individual, either by divine intervention or by some biological process. Although we are influenced by our genetic inheritance, we are largely in control of our actions. We are all free to choose our own course in life.

While it is up to each of us to choose what to do with our life, it would be a mistake to exclude the Creator from our deliberations. Actually, many have discovered that real meaning and purpose in life is bound up in a relationship with God. The vital connection between God and our purpose in life is highlighted in God’s personal name, Jehovah, which literally means, “He Causes to Become.” (Exodus 6:3; Psalm 83:18) That is, he progressively fulfills whatever he promises and always accomplishes what he has set out to do. (Exodus 3:14; Isaiah 55:10, 11) Think about that. The name Jehovah is a pledge to all of us that he is the ultimate and enduring Source of meaningful purpose.

Simply acknowledging the Creator’s existence has a profound impact on a person’s perspective on life. Linet, a 19-year-old, says: “Seeing all the wonderful things Jehovah has created and their purpose shows me that I too was created for a reason.” Amber adds: “When people speak of ‘the unknown,’ it always reminds me that I do know. The proof that Jehovah exists is simply in the things he has made.” (Romans 1:20) Of course, recognizing that the Creator exists is one thing, but developing a meaningful relationship with him is another.

From the Baha'i writings:

"Having created the world and all that liveth and moveth therein, He, through the direct operation of His unconstrained and sovereign Will, chose to confer upon man the unique distinction and capacity to know Him and to love Him -- a capacity that must needs be regarded as the generating impulse and the primary purpose underlying the whole of creation.... Upon the inmost reality of each and every created thing He hath shed the light of one of His names, and made it a recipient of the glory of one of His attributes. Upon the reality of man, however, He hath focused the radiance of all of His names and attributes, and made it a mirror of His own Self. Alone of all created things man hath been singled out for so great a favor, so enduring a bounty.

These energies with which the Day Star of Divine bounty and Source of heavenly guidance hath endowed the reality of man lie, however, latent within him, even as the flame is hidden within the candle and the rays of light are potentially present in the lamp. The radiance of these energies may be obscured by worldly desires even as the light of the sun can be concealed beneath the dust and dross which cover the mirror. Neither the candle nor the lamp can be lighted through their own unaided efforts, nor can it ever be possible for the mirror to free itself from its dross. It is clear and evident that until a fire is kindled the lamp will never be ignited, and unless the dross is blotted out from the face of the mirror it can never represent the image of the sun nor reflect its light and glory."

God did not NEED to create us.
He WANTED to create us.
Ezekial 18:4 states clearly we do NOT have an immortal soul.
The idea of an immortal soul, although wide-spread, is un-biblical.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 explains why man is existing.

I believe that God put us here on earth to solve the problems of those who are suffering, or at least make a difference in any way we can for those who are.

If you look at God's characteristics, especially His attitudes to the poor and suffering, He wanted to heal them and help them.

There is a quote by Albert Einstein that reads, "The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it."

These are thought-provoking words if you consider some of the things that are considered evil, and what problems and lifestyles they cause people to live. Poverty, drugs, homelessness, etc..

only christianity says that god made man after his image . this is bases on the books of Moses. the bible is based on the first book Genesis, of Moses and is found in the opening part of the bible. It says that god made man afer his image . Christianity says that god is formless and it says that god made man after his Image .So it is contradictory. it also means that god is in the form of a human being .It also says hat god blew into the nose of man and man came o life and started breathing .It means tha god had a alun and was breathing and god was alive because god was breathing . God also lke man depended on air .
so it was air that kept god alive and air was more powerful than god and "god depended on air for life and air preceded God and produced god .
God does not create absurdities. So God could not have made man.Moses could neer have been present when god made man. .It was who tole a lie ha god made men. It is also intersting to note that God id dnot blow intothe nostrils of the animals and the animals came tolife without god blowing into their nostrils . so animals did not requiore a god to assis t them inbrathng and coming to life .It was man who made god and not god whomade man . If god had made man , he mus be ashamed to have created an absurd and ackward heinous being . he woud have created somehting most perfect and not something rotten like man.since man made the God ,he has creagted a idiotic God .and imperfect god . becasue man made the ?god , and atrributed all his idocy to god , he became a sinner.fopr his lie about the God .

The human form of life was created by God so we can think we can try to lord it over the material world since we can not lord it over the spiritual world because God is fully revealed there. Although He also Lords over this material nature, out of His unlimited mercy, He becomes visible only to those who have realised that He is the Supreme Lord everywhere.

According to the Bhagavad-Gita, we are given bodies according to our state of mind. Somehow or other, we became envious of God, and so God gave us a body in which we could exercise control. In this human body, we are given the opportunity to re-awaken our realization of our constitutional postion as servant. If we develop God consciousness, we can return to God in our spiritual body, but if we develop the mind of a dog, we can take the body of a dog. We can see that everywhere, there is life, in the form of plants, aquatics, animals, and humans. Each body has a level of consciousness. The tree is alive, but the consciousness of a tree is so minute, it cannot be detected. The human has the highest level of consciousness, and so is perfect for re-establishing a relationship with God. This process of transmigration from one body to the next ends when we re-establish our postition as servant of God.

He was lonely. Later he regretted having made humans, and decided to commission Satan to design and build a place of torment, where human souls can spend eternity.
This is the fate of the human race.

Jesus came and tried to cheer everybody up with a promise of heaven, but that is not likely.
