Muslims, if in your country you could have any type of government you like,which would you vote for?

1) A western type democracy with liberal laws and equality of all people, men and women, or

2) Would you rather have a devout mulslim ruler (or king)and strict sharia laws?

I will choose DEMOCRATIC but not LIBERAL laws.
I can see what Liberal law can do to the civilization. I believe that it should be limits for any freedom. If we are aiming for safe future for us, for the next generation and for our kids, I need strict laws when it comes to crimes like rape that should be punished strictly.
I need a very strict laws when someone rip-off the government, when a teacher sexually molest a student then go free and marry this student!!!
And when some smart big shot, decide that my kids should not pray in school or carry the book of their faith.
I will vote for a government that will protect and secure me, my kids, my parents & my grandparent’s in-case of illness. Certainly, I will choose a government that will offer me as a citizen the chance to speak out my objections and my suggestions.
I will vote for a system that will never show any kind of discrimination, favoritism and racist.

This is my DREAM of a Government.

first u should know that the sharia dose give equality 4 men an women..
i would choose a kalifa (meaning a president elected by the people) also known as Imam.. a good kalifa that understands the true meaning of the Quran and Islam, and the Sharia..
according to Islam there should be a Parliament . known as (Majles Al-shiuok).. they would help the kalifa and carry the voice of the people..
i would vote 4 a Kalifa with a pure hart, that is not tanned with love of money, arrogance.. his hands were not tanned with blood and he should be clever..

A devout Muslim leader, a REAL Muslim democracy in which everyone has equality as commanded by the Quran and a leader whose hands are not tainted with blood, greed, and money that belongs somewhwere else. I've yet to see that in ANY government (Muslim or not), but I still have hope! :-D

I would rather have a devout muslim ruler who stays true to the shariah, but you have to understand, Saudi Arabian and Taliban shariah are not correct.

Muslim ruler with CORRECT sharia laws , and believe me u know nothing about the right shariah, don't look to taliban and these guys, they ain't applying shariah, they r halucinating.
