When me and my boyfriend really get into it he always tells me to get out his face before he smacks me but he never does he says it all the time to the point i want ti smack him. do i walk away or just smack him and get it over with so the smacking threats will be over

Slow down and think for a minute to what you said. "When me and my boyfriend really get into it he always tells me to get out his face before he smacks me but he never does he says it all the time to the point i want ti smack him." He is telling you to stop. Which is the healthier thing to do. Why would you then want to go past that point and actually hit him? If you hit first what do you think his response would be? Think, and stop never hit anyone to just get it over-with. If you feel he someday will hit you, you need to recognize this now,....and stop! It is never OK for either person to hit! Male or female, it is NEVER OK! The answer to your question is YES TO WALK AWAY, and to stop when he says stop. Both of you need to have healthy boundaries. Neither of you should be arguing to the point that either of you feel you want to hit someone else. If you feel threatened at any point in this relationship, I feel personally that you need to see outside help counseling , Friends to talk too, or police or crisis center if need be. It is never OK to threaten or hit. Al relationships have arguing, but if it goes to the point of either person wanting to hit, it is time to stop that relationship or seek help to learn tools to stop the behaviors or triggers which might cause those feelings...regardless it is never OK to hit anyone.

The only way I would hit a lady is only in self defense. If your boyfriend is one of those who like to hit women, then he's not worth your effort. Find a man that will put you on a pedestal, and treat you like you deserve to be treated. If he ever hits you, call the police and file charges on him, then dump him to the curve. Love shouldn't hurt. Best of luck to you.

If you are smart you will leave this idiot as fast as you can before he has the chance to carry out his threat.
