You may live to be 90, you may die tomorrow. Live your life as normal and dont be afraid or you may find yourself too scared to do anything and may as well be dead anyway.

It does freak you out when someone close to you dies especially if it is first time it has happened to you. Use your fear to live your life better. I have come to believe that my life has already been mapped out for me and I don't worry about death I know when my time comes nobody can change it. Give yourself some time about getting in the car your fear is natural and please find people you can talk to. I am sorry your are going through this and hope things will be better for you soon.

I am sorry to hear that this tragedy has happened to your friend. I think all we can do is practice best precaution in our daily lives, and hope that we will live up to good old ripe age.
The possibility of death is present with everyone from birth to death, and it can happen anytime. It will eventually happen to all of us and is unavoidable.
If I were in your shoes, I would just practice a lot more extra caution in driving until it becomes easier. As a matter of fact, safe and defensive driving ought to be a life-long habit for everyone. Just my 2 cents.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how you feel and it really sucks. We have no guarantees in life and that is something we have to figure out how to cope with. The thing you have to keep in mind is that you don't want to NOT live life for fear of losing it. You need to make the most out of everyday and remain hopeful that things will always work out. Please talk to a grief counselor or a religious counselor because what you went through is very hard to deal with. Good luck and God bless you

You can't control when you die, all you can do is be prepared for death. Just make sure you know what happens after death, if anything, and what will happen to you. And you can know for sure, no matter what other people will tell you.
I'm really sorry to hear about your friend. I'll be praying for you and your friend's family.

Write it all down and then tell yourself that this is not what your friend would want from you they wouldn't want you to be afraid and they wouldn't want you to not go on and be happy. It is okay to stop being afraid.

It could happen. But, don't worry about it.
If it happens, then you will just be laying there dead. It won't bother you. You'll just be dead.
If it doesn't happen, then you're just worrying about nothing.
