I like to watch them at random on Sundays. I'm not a Christian, but I do enjoy getting a bit of religious grounding (I love to watch Joel Osteen!). Today (and all the last week, really) all the TV ministers have been talking about is giving money. Is it "that time of year" or something? Cuz it seems like there's a lot more of this talk than usual. No moral teaching, noting. Just money talk.

I know there are some televangelists who only talk about "giving to God", but it's ALL of them now...

I love to watch Joel Osteen too! I call him the smilin preacher. I also believe he is one of the few honest televangelists there is, and he always has a good message. I believe they are asking for more tithing because November, December, and January.....the holiday months, people tend to not tithe as much. So, basically, it is "that time of year" for them to start getting back into the swing of things and tithe again. However, I do feel that most televangelists (not Pastor Osteen) are fake and only want money.

He desperately had to be sq. with the Lord and he did no longer have the money to pay what become mandatory. He went to the commercial corporation and requested for a own loan contained in the quantity mandatory to pay the tithing. The banker wondered what the interior most loan become for. Pres. Wilkinson advised him that it become to pay his tithing. The banker become inspired that it meant a lot to this youthful pupil to be sq. with the Lord that he felt effective that he might want to have self belief him to pay off the interior most loan. Pres. Wilkinson not in any respect lower back placed himself contained in the area of coming up short on contract day. He considered his tithing to be a lease on his existence. truly, God gave us all that we've and he in user-friendly words asks for 10% in go back. That become really lower priced lease for a existence of reward out of your landlord, or subsequently, your lifelord.

And the payment on their private jet is due.
