The islands were formed after the flood. At the time of, and for some time after, there was a supercontinent called Pangaea. The earth didn't separate until the time of Peleg (Genesis 10:25)

Oh, that's easy. See, when Dinosaurs ruled the earth (jesus horses) all 7 continents were joined together in a gigantic land mass called Pangaea. When, over the period of millions of years, the plate tectonics began to separate, so too did the continents separate. Eventually, there would be a gigantic methane expulsion that caused the dinosaurs' extinction, and the smaller-lung animals were the only ones to live through it. After the dinosaurs died, more millions of years passed and the first mammals began to evolve, ad those evolved into monkeys and monkeys evolved into us.

Or you can say they swam. Whichever is more plausible for you.

A Noah's Ark legend is the only thing common to man.
The Noah's Ark story(legend) is "allegory": Galatians 4.
Allegory is not to be taken literal, unless you're "carnal".
Allegoric mystery in the Bible has an allegoric more-all:

Or even Australia for that matter. Koalas only eat one type of plant that grows one place. I don't see how they could migrate there.
